48th Annual Convention - San Antonio

The San Antonio Archdiocesan Union is proud to host the 48th Annual Convention of the National Association of the Holy Name Society in the historic city of San Antonio, Texas, September 26 through September 30, 2018. The convention will be held at El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel.

This years Convention is being held in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. Registration fee before August 1st is $250 per delegate, registration after August 1st is $300.

Advanced Registration is requested: Please register early for the best rate. The registration cost is $250 per person if received before August 1st. Registration cost is $300 if received after August 1st. All registrations must be received before August 25, 2018.

The Convention Room Rate is available from Monday, September 24th until Tuesday, October 2, 2018. A block of rooms is reserved under the designation - Natl Assn. of Holy Name Societies. Advanced registration requested. Please register early! There will be breakfast, lunch and dinner concessions are available at the hotel during the convention. The hotel also has a restaurant. You can check out all the amenities available on-line.

Tour Information

Thursday – San Antonio Riverboat Tour – to be attended by all who wish to see San Antonio’s famous Riverwalk and learn some of the city’s interesting history from an interesting and fun perspective.

Friday – Grand Tour to be attended by those who registered for it. We will visit The Alamo, Mission San Jose, Mission Concepcion, El Mercado, Japanese Gardens, Battle for Texas and San Fernando Cathedral. There are many additional attractions available to those not attending the business sessions and training.
